Notes: The crew chief in stock car racing is the guy who has the headset; he's directly responsible for the conduct of a racer, and they are responsible for directing the pit crew. Car chiefs are responsible for the car outside of races. A pit crew is a group of mechanics that change tires and refill gas tanks, etc, during 'pit stops'.
